I just acquired a used Mi Mix earlier this year as my very first phone and I would say that that's the best device I've had, besides heating issues (no internal cooling chamber). Nearly bought Mix 2 and I was extremely lucky I didn't do so.
The design is perfect, the screen ratio is just perfect. Recently get my hands on my relative's Note10+ and the tall screen just makes it feel smaller than the Mi Mix. Don't understand why phones are that tall nowadays, just disappointed.

Whenever custom ROMS are launched for new devices, they are full of bugs irrespective of the brand.
Infact I did not switch to EU ROM Coz at the time, it wasn't bug free compared to stock chinese ROM as per xda users then.

İ do have proof and shared already with lots people who have had the same problems in reddit and XDA developers..
You may have had a solid experience out of your device..
İ did not and İ am not happy about it..
İ am sure you have had the same problem with any other brand or device at least once in your life.
You being happy about your phone does not mean everybody should right ?

Mimix is the sexist, the rest are ugly, they ruined it by making it smooth cut corners , rather than flat sharp edges oldskool monolithic edgeToedge design.

I bought the phone when it was on miui 12... It was already snappy and quick.
After spending several hours debloating, customizing and getting used to MIUI 12, it felt great and I had no problems staying with the China ROM since all bands were supported and Google Pay was working correctly as well.
The miui 12.5 update made it even smoother. I have unlocked bootloader, but didn't bother switching to EU or any other ROM.

What is your source for that? Some benchmark application?
Coz I do not see any difference in real world usage.
Miui 12.5 made the software experience more smoother, snappy and intuitive.

I have zero overheating issues in regular use.
Phone might get a little hot during repeated benchmark, nothing else.. I doubt you are doing repeated benchmarks in daily use on your Mi 11 Ultra.
I don't really know which other software issues you have...are you on global variant? As global ROM is always behind Chinese ROM in terms of development.

"İt's all up to user experience."
One can be happy with the phone or one may not.

I may suggest you EU rom for starters in addition no need to mention you need to unlock the bootloader which will take a week once you apply from unlock miui app from your PC and the story goes on and on..
I may share the benchmark results EU rom vs Chinese rom
İf required..they are almost two different worlds apart..
You and people like you should never forget;
Hardware software all innovations, will evolve with sharing ideas eventually solving problems..
You know what ! You don't even own the phone right ?

Stock Chinese ROM is also stable as confirmed by other users in this article.
One anonymous guy is making it look like software is terrible yet he fails to highlight what exactly about the software is such a huge problem.

I own Poco F3 global edition and have no issues with it.

My friend bought it a day after it was released, there was some bugs but fixed after a week and it never looked back. I tried it half a day playing genshin, asphalt. The new updates was cleaner,smoother and provides great compliment with its refresh rate. Yes, a lot of people keep dissing miui without even used it before. I could say that its more fluid than one UI, when it 12.5 ver came out.( i think this was the reason why samsung as well did a revamp on theirs, haha.). Why i saw the lcd of the mi 10t, this was a revelation that ,not Lcd were created equal. It was crisp and color were vibrant. If they would put the same quality of the display to their mi pad 5, apple, samsung and lenovo ahould be worried.
