Sure, it's maybe half an inch too narrow to be perfect, but it never fails detecting any of my registered fingers. Doesn't matter how I hold the phone. Doesn't matter what direction I apply my finger. It just unlocks.

I can't care less about Fold, but Flip is something i want replace Note.
OK so it's not so crippled as first Flips. Screen is 120Hz, small screen bigger. CPU will totally outperform Note20Ultra because it's S.N.A.P. to the D R-A-G-O-N.
Memory.... pathetic but tolerable.
Dualsim only "E".. well, tolerable in the covid era.. because aint no body fly nowhere.
Battery... ehm... well.. still pathetic but given the new Samsung memory management (a.k.a. KILL APPS), and Snapdragon it might last more than a day.. acceptable.
Still shitty punchhole vs Fold3.
Still no pen vs Fold3.
And charging.... Samsung style. As backwards as you can imagine. Slow and ultra slow Qi of just 9W. Damn.
Hope the fingerprint will work.. as since they moved it under screen, it still does NOT work. Model after model. Meanwhile, Oneplus 6T came up with it first, and it worked right there. We're talking about year 2018, ladies and gentlemen. 3 years later, Samsung doesn't have fingerprint and doesn't have fast charging. Unbelievable!
Disclaimer: despite that, i will still buy Flip3.

Software does degrade with time, hence the need for factory reset from time to time. Similarly w battery. However of you fix these two you basically got your phone as it was the day you bought it...

You do know that after 2 years the battery and performance degrade no matter your rationalizations right? It is what it is and although the note 10+ was the perfect device, It's simply bs to say it still holds perfectly

will nver buy a samsung phone.

... unless you're a ... mobile ... gamer ofc. In that case any extra inch of extra (GPU) real estate matters, so every new gen makes a difference tbf

I loved this phone too but you don't need to protect it when it's clear its time is due
