Also regular S21 had pretty bad battery life - S21+ has much higher endurance rating. I wanted to buy S21 because it's smaller but am now waiting for the FE and hoping that it has battery life similar to S21+.

I will consider buying it ONLY if it has the SD card slot AND the 3.5mm jack.

And I think he's right about that: side mounted fingerprint reader ~ found on their cheaper phone; IP rating ~ found on the high end phones (S, Note) also upper mid-range (A52/72)
They're just not going to make an expensive phone with a feature found only on their cheaper phones and they won't make a cheap phone with a feature reserved for the top of the line

I mean, don't you know that Samsung with S series got IP rating ? even now with A52 and A72 ? dude get out from your cave man

There are many more models but i understand if you don't want a budget a series phone since they aren't that good compared to the competition.

Even the midrange a52 has a IP67
I don't understand why a side mounted fingerprint sensor is a selling point. The way you explained it sounds like you wouldn't buy a 350-700 euro phone just because it has a optical fingerprint sensor. You want to spend over 1k more just because a fold 3 has a side fingerprint sensor.

Samsung has moved past side mounted fingerp... moreI actually thought long and hard about getting the Xperia 1 series, but for the price the lack of updates and the ridiculously narrow screen make this a no-go. Actually the Samsung Fold 3 will have an IP rating and the side fingerprint reader, so if the price the rumored $1600 and not the rumored $2,000 I may just go for it with a trade in.
If all fails, the Pixel 5a is the next candidate. Solid phone and quite affordable.
I just don't understand why out of 50 different models that Samsung makes there isn't even one that has a side-mounted scanner and an IP rating. Samsung has completely lost it between trying to copy Apple and One plus. No wonder their sales are dropping by the minute.
