In Cambodia, it costs 1050$ for 16gb version. I think it's much higher than what Apple confirms...

Tomorrow you will be the first person to brag about it when Apple releases a quad core iPhone with NFC.
Still every time Apple has increased the screen size and bumped up the resolution.
Yet every time an iPhone releases i never saw a celebrity or its representative even in the first 50 of the ones waiting in the line.
They should buy a vertu then not an iPhone
"iAgree" :P its not for all, only for technologically backward people who don't understand that they are being robbed in the name of class. $100 for an extra 16GB, i will get a 500GB external HDD for that much. LOL
And I am glad that i am not that type of a person at least my money is being put into some useful stuff not in this non sense phone.

Celebrities, public figures, athletes... you do realize you're talking about people who aren't known for wisdom? But basically I agree with you, people like that, and those who want to be like that, will go for it. I tried it and it worked great, still it was "just a phone" and nothing I'd pay 1000 Euros for. No more magic. If I didn't know it was aluminum I'd be guessing it's plastic from the way it looks.

The iPhone is not outdated. Everything in the iPhone 5 is current technology. The iPhone 5 has no NFC because there is still practically no use for that. The iPhone doesn't have quadcore because it doesn't need to have quadcore. It's faster and more fluid than most other quadcore phones. And it doesn't need a larger, higher resolution screen. It's got a brighter, clearer, and sharper screen even than phones with 4.7-inch 720p displays. And there is a large segment of the market that only Apple can cater for. The elitist. People consisting of celebrities, public figures, athletes, high-earning white-collar people. People who actually have class and want a multi-functional and elegant phone to complement their image and lifestyle. That is the reason why the iPhone costs so much. It's not for all. It's only for people who can and will not hesistantly afford it. People who only drive a Maybach or a Porsche, only use a Macbook and not just a regular Windows PC, dine in in an exclusive Italian or Japanese restaurant. So if you're not that type of people, the iPhone is definitely not for you. A Samsung phone could suit you anyway.

people wouldn't you rather spend your hard eared money on the nokia lumia 920? it has way more innavation (it better all round)
I know I would rather the nokia lumia 920 over this anyday, sorry but the tech on the iphone 5 is a little old now sinse the nokia lumia came out... now the apple iphone is really rotten..

in my country it's 980 euro, while sgs3 and htc one x are about 550-600 euro!even if it is better (it isn't) than sgs3 or one x i don't think is of any reason to give 380 euro more to buy it!
