You can watch the problem of Exynos2100 and earlier types..
More Gpu cores more battery Consumption, more Heating output..
This is why Mediatek only often put lesser Gpu cores for balance performance that is expected not to be flagship but fool proof performance

The Android Freak, 12 Aug 2021Oppo Reno 6 5G is not optimized at all. Can you tell me in detail where exactly it isn't optimized for?

Dimensity should support WiFi 6 and Helio WiFi 5

Case in point-1+7T, X2 Pro, X3SZ, Reno2, Reno10xZ, K20Pro, etc. most of them had 8MP UW, but even now most of their successors/siblings still have 8MP UW, only Samsung is giving X+12+5MP on a couple of phones which is much better.

Still enjoying my Dim.1200 phone, it's proper brilliant for the price just like AMD is/was for a couple of years. Just wish they also updated the GPU either by using the newer (at that time) G78 instead of copying the older G77 from more than a year ago, or by putting more cores instead of the MC9, they don't even report the frequencies!?

I'm very happy with my Nord 2.

                            Imx766 and OIS are good!

But give me the choice with a Dimensity 920, put a 12MP ultra wide instead of the 8MP in Nord 2 and a 12MP tele X4 with OIS instead of the B&W sensor and for 400€ I will choose the D920 instead of D1200

The 810 is basically a reworked 800U with a 6nm fabrication process, and the 800U itself is a reworked 2+6 core version of the 800. I still take the 820 all day long.

As for the 920, the 900 itself is barely three months old and yet Mediatek already give an upgrade to it? Whoever bought the Oppo Reno6 5G or the Honor 50 SE will not like this at all.

                                  - Dimensity 920: WINNER Design! Literally destroyed D900 and even goes after the SD 778!
This can be the true mid range processor.

                                  - Dimensity 810: Looks extremely good on CPU... but... WHY 2 GPU CORE? WHY MEDIATEK? STOP THAT NONSENSE!
Dimensity 800 has 4 Core GPU and 800U has 3!!!
Now everyone would start to see the Dimensity 820 with good eyes once aga... wait... maybe they want to make the 820 look great again? Come one MTK, revive it as Dimensity 821 with upgraded perks with the same structure!

It's so good seeing mediatek becoming competitive.

looks good, especially 920 will be a nice mid-range chip. Paired with decently priced 120 hz ips should make for a great phone (please trust, oled in mid-range is bad unless you are looking at a samsung phone
