Ex-HTC fan, 08 Nov 2012Been said a million times before, really SAD!
Stop acting... moreYes!
Take a look at your previous phones like HTC HD2!! It is 3 yrs OLD, yet it can run ICS/ WP7/ WMO .. it has 512 / 1gb internal storage .. (large for its time)
But why does it last so long? Because of sd slot + removable battery!
If your one series have a sd slot / removable battery .. it would have last longer then a pretty unibody fruit design, and ppl would buy!

Been said a million times before, really SAD!
Stop acting and imitating the FRUIT! When you dumped replaceable battery, SD Card, slow OS upgrade you killed all your loyal customers in Android which was your core customers instead you go and try to win customers from IOS and windows 8.....really???
Last time I checked some 61% of smartfone users are on Android, so why not concentrate what you were good at instead of trying to be a piece of rotten FRUIT. Copy Samsung if you are lost for ideas!

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2012Good job, they deserve everything they get. They promise th... moreAgree totally, isn't a flagship just that. Why wait 6 months and release a One X+ with bigger battery and faster CPU. Why didn't they do it first time around to the One X and make it a FLAGSHIP device
HTC have lost their way and their profit, when they wake up its going to be too late.

HTC is a gret brand a makes beautiful phones. Their 3 biggest issues are 1. little to zero marketing 2. poor customer service 3. badly optimized software (causing lags and poor battery life) Fix those 3 and you'll be back on your horse HTC!

Good job, they deserve everything they get. They promise then continually fail to meet their promises. I have a One X and "JB coming in October", well its now November and still waiting... just like the DHD I had previously this was a great phone, promised ICS update then off course didn't deliver. Biggest problem they forget who pays their salaries "the consumer"... HTC used to lead the way, about time they fired all the exec's and got someone in there that knows what "customer service is"

HTC. Previously - quietly brilliant. Now - quietly beaten. Hope they can do better in the future.

If the dumb nuts at HTC offered replaceable batteries with bigger capacity, better sounding speakers for multi-media listening me speakerphone use, 2GB of RAM and SD/XD card slot they may just not lose their customers to Samsung. Spec wise the Samsung Note 2 and Galaxy S3 offer everything that HTC smartphones offer and more. Then the idiots at HTC wonder why they are losing market share lol... If they are that stupid then they deserve to lose market share.

The WiFi-Direct service is not working in any of the HTC model. All there in One Series X,S,V.
After talking to customer care and Visiting service centre they didnot give any reply.
Big thing is they don't know what is "WiFi Direct".
My two friends has HTC who's phone screen get operated automatically without touching it.
This condition is they they just unboxed it and service center people tell it might be due to water damage.
They dont have proper after sales services and no proper qualified developer to fix the bugs.

The issue is that they turned their back on developers. Only allowing partially unlocked bootloaders via their own website. It's a travesty.

They had the possibility to become the powerhouse of Android line of phones, with their ground-breaking Hero phone, and also the sublime One series, but they spread themselves too thin and they do not listen to customers, the big problem is their battery capacities, build quality and post-sale service quality. They all SUCK and these guys do not learn. Whoever sits in executive management should be fired.

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2012Let me interpret your msg in 2 way.
Yes Htc phones do lo... moreLook i agree withyou that HTC isnt so good like before..
But dont you disregard and offend other people's work! those "group of people" are same mentality of those who design the softwares/interface for Samsung,HTC,Apple etc some of them are working closely with those vendors as well...without development mentality you wouldnt be carrying a device now and bashing others.. if you dont understand it ..LEARN then COMMENT!

A problem easily solved: stop selling oodles of different half-baked smartphone ideas as different phones. I had hoped that the HTC One series was going to be the step in the right direction (albeit poorly executed in reality) by offering a budget version, a mid range version and a top end version. Add to that regular software updates and decent customer service and they'd be laughing.
Sadly they still experiment on their customers in different markets, leaving customers elsewhere disappointed and feeling short-changed. I still love my Sensation, but it's becoming increasingly unlikely that its replacement in a few months will be another HTC. Much as I'd hope there was a worthy successor.
Tho the Droid DNA could be it. If only it came to the UK...

Yeah serve them right!! Curse them bcoz my hox with cid 044 still hasn't get the jb update yet. It has declined too much over these years.
If HTC still don't get their next 5" phone right. I will move to Nokia wp8.

locked bootloader, they keep pushing no sd xpansion, sense ui was heavily skinned! they even fail the user of DHD by cancelling ics update.. the hell will buy that htc phone these days? before htc was always ahead of everything larger screen, higher cpus, love for the hardcore fans.. but now..ugh they just keep competing with everyone keep releasing reharshed version of phones, overhyped beats that is just a merely equalizer. and if ever they release an advance phone its only exclusive to u.s carriers! so htc wants the rest of the world to buy the old one x. three word for htc: 1 hit wonder!
