making 5nm move is the wisest which no other wearable took. Infact all other watch makers were not on even 90nm .. they and google's 3100 were using something around 130nm fabed chips, not putting their 21 century AI-ed dumb heads that these minute things are the best fit for sub 10nm fab chips not the smartphones only as in sheep walk they all including google were doing. This "upto 40hrs" battery stamina seems for smaller watch and not disclosed for larger one but i bet this is because of untuned early version webOS and 5nm will provide enough foundation to keep extending battery days and hours through ever new tweak updates to webOS over coming weeks n months.

Magnificent Suleiman, 11 Aug 2021¨Up to 40 hours¨ is disappointingly lowReally, its a smartwatch not a smartband, 40 hours is a lot compared to other WearOS smartwatches.

Switched from smartwatch to something more durable and practical. Suunto Core All Black. Battery life 1 year. Thermometer, altimeter, barometer, storm warning, compass. Exactly what I need in these crazy weather days.

All I want to see from the new WearOS-powered Watch4 is the battery life compared to the previous Tizen-powered Watch3.

Disappointing battery life as expected, the capacity is just too low and WearOS still needs optimisation as well

Looks like battery life will be the same as GW3, so not that great. Bring back S3 Frontier perfomance!
