Niv, 07 Nov 2012What hapnd to Windows 7.5 users?they'll be upgraded to winphone 7.8, they get the homescreen, +kids corner, sumthing called hub and IE10. .Thats all, apps made for winphone 8 cannot be used in winphone 7.8. .

I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks "NOKIA" once somebody mentions Windows Phone 8. This Microsoft/Nokia agressive marketing campain really did it's share. HTC needs to try really hard to grab a piece of this tasty cake. It's like BlackBerry all over again. Pretty soon HTC will need to start selling out their stock with ridiculously low prices just to stay afloat. Even Samsung is not stupid enough to pick a fight with Microsoft in the WP8 game. It's a real shame because HTC makes real good quality handsets, the price though... it's a whole different story. Quality aside, I'd chose a Galaxy SIII over OneX+ any day. There are three unquestionable kings in the phone market: Apple (obvoiusly), Samsung and MS/Nokia (a new category but with a LOT of potential). Anyone trying to compete in this game of thrones is up for quite a challenge.

people calling other people brainless over the choice of buying something are just pathetic. everyone has different needs and preferences. I, for example use android as my phone, but I'm getting a Lumia 920 for it's awesome camera, screen, and design. offline navigation and an excellent office suite are also great pluses. not to mention the screen's great outdoor legibility. I got reasons. but don't go on calling me or other people brainless just because you think the product that I'm/they're purchasing sucks. the decision is mine and most definitely the money to be spent. self-centered trolls.

And HTC and LG promised upgrades to ICS or JB never came. And at least microsoft still had sumtin in store for winphone 7.5, . .7.8 anyone?

I have a galaxy note,for the 1st time i'm switched from symbian to android,but what i want to say is...the NOTE lag and hang every time i play it ! And the camera is totally suck ! then i'm rather go back for symbian and bought a incredible NOKIA 808 ! next collection is the pretty nice lag free L920 !

WP8 can support up to 64 cores because it is using the more up-to-date Windows NT kernel that is also on Windows 8. With the same kernel running on both Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8, developers can now port apps between desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones easier.
