This will be the Worst phone when privacy is concerned. Reliance Jio openly data mines from its broadband users, it used to deploy the Arabian gulf's darling deep packet inspection company but now apparently has its own tools to snoop data.
And google is google, right up there with Facebook.
These phones will be priced cheap because the users are actually the product. They will push their anti-competitive services down user's throats and gatekeep whatever websites that they want (ala Facebook's Internet Basics) and they will get away with it because India got no existing data privacy laws, but the dispensation (and the one before to a smaller extent) is a data invader itself.
Dark times we live in, where China has become the poster boy for internet rights or lack thereof with RW clowns.

these specs means we're looking at Rs. 4000 range approx, some $50.
Combine this with some yearly and bi yearly plans and guess what its an awesome deal. This will be success.
