Xiaomi unveils a new 100W wireless charging stand for just under $100

It is almost identical in looks and functionality to the existing 80W model, but with a few improvements.

I believe I read that the Mi Mix 4 hardware supports 100w wireless charging and that was going to be a feature until some new rule in China forced Xiaomi to cap the wireless rate at 50w.

    Mix 4 is supposedly support 100W wireless charging. The only reason they advertise it only having 50W wireless charging is that recently there's a statewide regulation released in China stating that all wireless charging shouldn't exceed 50W for safety reasons.

      China gov is going to forbid more than 50w by early 2022.
      upcoming phones are already being set to be 50 at most

              Pretty insane that it's still within Qi standard parameters... or at least I think it is.

              Can't believe USB-C Power Delivery was such a mess a few years ago.

                It's possible that they should be planning to release a compatible smartphone, but it could also be compatible with other brands?
