AnonD-1003038, 16 Aug 2021It really depends. I had Xiaomi Mi5 that literally snapped ... moreExactly. Those bends or durability tests are not so relevant to real use case.

Someguy20, 16 Aug 2021Well there are durability problems
Demonstrated in Jerry... moreIt really depends. I had Xiaomi Mi5 that literally snapped in half in Jerry's test. It's now 5 years old device, I had it for 2 years, handed it over to a relative and it's still in use, still not snapped in half.
If you're the sort of person who sticks phone in jeans back pocket and regularly sits on it, then sure, it's important. If not, it's perfectly fine. It's why I always say I want glass on back of my phone because it's just more durable and feels better for MY usage. And everyone instantly rages how glass shatters so easily. Yeah, maybe for YOU, but doesn't for ME.
I was a bit surprised this ZTE phone is all plastic though, side frame and back (even though GSMArena states it's glass back). But then it's a 500€ phone with pretty high specs so I'm willing to forgive. Not you Samsung for using plastic backs on 850+ € phones tho...
