Major retailer accidentally leaks Bose QuietComfort 45, a pair will cost you $330

18 August 2021
That's $30 more than the launch price of the QC35 II, though the 45 model boasts improved battery life, build quality and active noise cancellation.

Kindly improve life the synthetic ear cup material
Continuous usage in warm weather / tropical countries weaken the earcup material and they end up tearing on the 35
The 45 needs longer lasting material suitable for tropical climates

Kangal, 19 Aug 2021Alright guys... this Bose QC45 or the Sony XM4 ? Which one... moreThis ones, just tested the Sony you mentioned and they loose a lot of bass at the higher volume. Not great, on the other hand the bose 700 don't have such a high bass but it's consistent without loosing quality. Having said that I'm waiting for these to come out, selling the 700 if you want them.

Alright guys... this Bose QC45 or the Sony XM4 ?
      Which one should I get?

Kriegsherr, 19 Aug 2021Bose sound worse compared to Sennheiser, Bayerdynamic, Audi... moreIf you do not know, I find it pretty easy to click that link I provided.
I have 3 ... maybe 4? 4 Bose headphones and only QC 35 II sounds decent (with a small Wavelet correction), their TWS ANC is ok, but hardly worth the asking price.

When I consider everything, AudioTechnica and others are significantly better than Bose has/ever had to offer. But AT's, Sennheiser and others usually make subpar wireless headphones (especially Sennheiser ... which was one of the main reasons they sold the company).
+ Bose is really the worst software company I have ever experience, their mobile app usually do not work as intended or are lacking any decent function. Not to mention, they almost never fix broken firmware.

anyway, although it comes nowhere close to my Sennheiser HD599, QC35II wired is better than wireless. I dont know how you find wired worse than wireless.

Matter of opinion, 19 Aug 2021BOSE delivers better sound and comfort than most headphones... moreBeats are not headphones, they are simply fashion accessories. in my book, those beats craps has no place.

QC 35 needs massive frequency response correction to sound good.

IMHO QC 35 II sounds fairly well, lotsa noise from ANC sadly, 700 on the other hand are one of the worst headphones I have even used.

Bose can make good ANC BT headphones, but that's probably because ANC BT quality is really low in general - Sony, Apple almost none of those sounds better than cheapo Anker Q30 for less than $80.

There was a time not that long ago when Bose rarely introduced new headphones to replace existing models. The refresh rate had a very long window. That seems to have changed starting with the QC 35. Now, it's every two years. Caveat Emptor.

Hopefully the bluetooth range is improved. The range on the QCII was pretty bad. Other than that, the headphones are amazing. Long Live The Physical Buttons!

Have been using my QC 35 for the last ...5 years i think, have changed 2 sets of ear cups, and still no issues, they still work perfect, but QC 45 i think will be my upgrade, jsut because the battery has been going weak for the last year or so. but ming you hey are in use at least 10-14h a day, at work and at home so yea. one of the best. and i like how soft they are for my head :)
