Anonymous, 19 Aug 2021What advantages in 2012 and 2013?Before that iOS users always bragged about having more apps in app store (as they got early start in year 2007).
Also after 2013-14, with Android lollipop, the lag and stutter was completely gone on major devices

The apps designed around Android are consistent and well laid out. As an iOS and an Android user from their initial offerings, I prefer Android.

[deleted post]Well, maybe they can try by not treating users like last garbage in the world when it comes to supporting after they sell devices to users. Yeah, I'm talking about Android phone makers here, not Apple. Not everything is about specs on paper.

Spanky, 18 Aug 2021They probably disabled the feature because of security risk... moreThey probably disabled it because they found major issues and couldn't fix them in time. This is very normal in software development.

They probably disabled the feature because of security risks and/or severe bugs. Of course, being the most anti-consumer company in the world, they won’t admit their incompetence and the potential security threats, just disable the feature and pretend it never happened.
