So the batttery would last about 2 years even with 1000 charges? Not to mention sometimes I don't fully charge in my car...as the trip may not be long enough for a full charge, would that count as one time as well?

Another example, if you go hiking, and you just realized the phone's battery is dead. Would it be easier to replace a fully charged battery or use a mobile charger and "wait" for the phone to be charged up?

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2012Why? no electricity in the hospital? just curious..Electricity in public hospital is mostly reserved for medical equipment.

And if you ever visit anyone being hospitalized, you may notice some simply tasks, such as plug the charger into the outlet, may prove to be quite difficult.

I just thought of another advantage with replaceable battery.

For example, my friend is hospitalized for a few days. With replaceable battery, all I need to do is bring a charged up one when visiting my friend, and take the drained one home to be charged.

For phones like these Android Razr, the only solution is to use an external battery charger, which takes much longer time and not as convenient.

So if I charge my phone everyday, it will last no more than 2 years.

S3 was scheduled for October and S2 is scheduled for November update. But yes most suppliers are very slow on JB update. Motorola has just started improving but just. Recently dropped the A2 from the JB update list thought it has all the right hardware and very fluid and fast on ICS

More than a month ago Galaxy S III starts receivng JB update but its previous flagship devices like Galaxy S II & Galaxy Note N7000 which are still selling like hot cakes still did not get JB update.
Shame on currently world's number 1 mobile manufacture company SAMSUNG.

Nice to see Moto getting more updates thru Google. Not really nice for Motorola stop making phones with replacable batteries.

You keep updating the phones yet without the replacable batteries, the phones will last max around 2 years. What good would the updated phones be when the batteries are dead?
