Leak suggests all four iPhone 13 models will go on sale on September 17

25 August 2021
Last year Apple had to split the launch in two parts and it only happened in October/November. This year there should be no such delays.

So are we gonna act like putting a folded phone in your pocket doesn't make a brick twice as thick?

    Go read it carefully please.

    And I meant performance decreases.

OhNom, 26 Aug 2021"Fast charging damages the battery." Sure, until... more"yes, until they implement it"

      Precisely right!

It'll be a few more years until apple implements it, and when they do, the tech would have caught up(it would take 2 years to multiply capacity by 2 times(from 15W to 30W)), which is a reasonable pace, unlike going from 30W to 100W in 2 years(not a reasonable pace).

"but induction charging hurts it more"

15W induction charging hurts less than 66W or 100W regular charging, lol.

"The 3 generations that cost $1000"
Sorry, the iPhone 12 mini is $700.
      iPhone 12 is $800.

      "with 60hz screens"
That's like complaining that the samsung galaxy note10+ doesn't have a 108MP camera when the s20 ultra's gonna be released in a week.

Most people don't want to unfold their phones everytime when they use it, we check our screens so many times a day that any extra step feels big. Clamshell phones were never that popular because they had that extra step, it was cool to open your phone, but it wasn't practical in long term, exact same for foldables. Foldables will stay niche product for a very long time and they might never be mainstream devices. There's so much to improve with them and like Samsung shows, there's hardly any improvements over the years for the biggest problems folding phones have.

When they get to the point that they are durable, actually reasonable to buy and have a more normal size with a usable external screen and can turn into a tablet whenever needed, they'll be mainstream. We just have to wait a bit more

It's hard to do anything impressive when almost everything has already been done. Currently last and really only impressive thing left to do is the invisible selfie cam placed under the display. ZTE Axon 30 kinda did the "wow that's pretty cool" even if selfie picture quality is still poo. It's impressive how well it's hidden now and since I don't care about selfie cam, I do like it. But once that's out of the way, what else there even is to "wow" us? It's just cramming of same old but better stuff into phones.

Even folding phones don't really wow me. So you fold a plastic display. I'll be wowed when they manage to somehow fold an actual glass because that'll change the folding display game entirely from this fragile folding plastic displays to folding displays that aren't killed by fingernail...

They are future normals, just a matter of time when they got affordable and sleek ! No body would like to waste pocket space like a kangaroo’s bag, the way today’s big phones have become.

Foldables will be very niche products for a long time and maybe always. They need to improve so much. Most people don't want huge brick in their pocket and in other hand people don't want to unfold their device basicly everytime they want to use it. Current smartphone form factor is great and practical that's why it's been unchanged.

I believe the iPhone 13 series will be great but iPhones and the Pixels now lacks the wow factor ever since the Fold3 and Flip3 were announced. If it doesn't fold, it just doesn't have the same je ne sais quoi. It's just another phone. And phones is about new trends. It's similar to fashion.

                                  https://www.apple.com/child-safety/pdf/CSAM_Detection_Technical_Summary.pdf

It is a neural network, it is called Neuralhash, it consists of recognizing specific patterns of the photos with the neural network so that similar images can be recognized, even changed, it is an AI, therefore they have to review the photo, they explain it in the same article along with its operation and you can make a mistake with the girlfriend of someone who looks childish, but that, they worry about children, but in Saudi Arabia that marry girls at age 10 they do not report anyone
