Was legit waiting for this year's models, so that I could pick one up (not a fanboy, but needed it for certain game dev apps that my old iPad cannot properly utilize) BUT that was before the snooping BS that fruit company is gonna shove down our throats in iOS 15.
Gonna vote with my wallet, will make do without iOS, but we as consumers should not let some corporate behemoth trample over our rights so easily. The only way to make these too-big-to-fail companies listen is to exercise our votes as consumers and not give them a dime till they stop over reaching.

The iPhone 12 did not give me any legitimate reason for upgrading over my iPhone 11.
The MI 10t pro on the other hand offered a significant upgrade in multiple areas.
It also saved me 200€ that I later spent on TWS.

I'm not sure if there's gonna be an A.O.D for iphones and if they are going to add the feature. What have they been waiting for? Anyways I'm nt an iphone guy. Cause they got too much of restrictions and I love to explore with my phone. Always-On-Display is a good copy from android. Maybe their next gen. phone will deal with that annoying notch.

The 12gb-16gb RAM was labeled as a gimmick for years by these same people, now that they got it on ipad, now it's suddenly "useful" and "exist for a reason"

Coz ppl like you think Android needs more RAM.
Unlike iOS, Android isn't a lightweight operating system. Your iPhone would cripple trying to just implement basic things from Android

[deleted post]Subject was iPhone not iPad, you have desktop quality graphic design apps on iPad also maybe we will see professional video editing apps like final cut there too sooner or later. It’s propably future proofing and Apple is doing something big. Maybe they release their Logic music producer app for iPad, never know. Or MacOS for touch?

The iPhone 13 mini might be the last to have that size. But the problem is still only 4 GB RAM and 60 Hz. Once you go Flip3, why bother going back to half the gigs of RAM and half the refresh rate? And iPhones no longer have that cool factor. Been mostly unchanged the last 4 years.

That's only about three weeks from now. Too bad Flip3 made all slab designs look outdated. I was excited for the Pixel 6 Pro. Now I don't care. I will never go back to slab. I want the Game Boy Advance SP form factor for now on.
