In regards to the volte comment pay attention to the phones capable bands before u buy the redmi note 8 og didn't have volte for any provider but the note 9 up does. Newer devices yield newer technology

2_ buying a phone for gcam and custom ROM is the dumbest thing that someone can do
3_ people who use custom ROM are like lower than 10% of phone buyers
4_ developers make custom ROM and gcam for free , so some may leave it behind , get new phone , stop it because it doesn't give them any profit for example BSG gcam developer posted his PayPal donation link and he only get 1$ after 5 months of posting ( proof is in his telegram channel , get it from Celso site )

Th... moreI did back then, but it allegedly also disables some other optimizations that are not related to task killing and you want those around. It's also not that easy to set that and then you have dev settings always enabled after that. I was thinking if they put controls for this under Battery settings or something. Looks like they haven't.
