When Apple may demand from HTC for $6 -$8 per phone sold, it considered $1 to Motorola for hand phone core wireless patent is reasonable. How arrogant Apple is!

Before we know it, apple is gonna earn $$$ from each other devices sold so long as they are rectangles with rounded corners.

They get $6 to $8 assuming HTC used all the patents. HTC will just learn to work around them somehow. They'll just end up using a few and eventually none at all.

WTF apple is doing, they make easy money on a company who's struggling in smartphone battle. And maybe they just want to eliminate HTC out.

does htc hav any sense of business or they dissolved it in their touch sense?? better they would have filed the case n settled in the court... they dont have guts like samsung which after big time fight wid apple, lost but atleast they fought hard enuf n showed apple what they r what they desreves... n they lost only in US while they won every other places... apple has patented everything means only they have rights yo make smartphones n the world will become a dumb..this will lead to anarchy... poor law of US... thats y their economy goin down...

nice one apple, first, you will agree to pay motorola if it's only $1 per unit but you want $6 - $8 per unit on HTC.. what a greedy company..

So much fail on htc part. They went from winning an lte battle to paying apple? Apple is losing left right and center. Htc you suck. I'll never buy your phone. When I heard you settled out of court I knew you the worst of the deal. Good luck with your falling profits. Hope you die quickly

Strange to see so many uninformed here, as it is HTC are also paying Microsoft as well. So is Samsung and Sony I believe. Many articles have stated that the manufacturers are very angry, as they believe the fault is with Google, who both copied iOS and Microsoft patents, as well as doing nothing to protect Android.

If google keep this up, I will not be surprised to see more emphasis of the manufacturers on WP8, as they will not lose so much money.
