LOSE the bezel and you might be on to something. 4100+ is a good start, WEAR 3 not so much. Bezel is a loser.

Black bezel is still too wide. Plus that 3.0 coming out next year is just too vague.

This one looks nice, although it's weird they use latest chipset, but old WearOS version...

The best part on Fossil watch are only their steel analog like interface. The reflection animation part based on your moving hands are brilliant.
Other than that, thank you very much. Happy with my old Honor Magicwatch 2 that has 14 days battery life. Can take calls when on my motorcycle, while everyone watching, is priceless. 😂😂😂

The charging mechanism is still a carryover from Gen5. Two magnetic rings. Once one losens or pops out and gets popped back in, good luck getting your watch fully charged, if at all.

The amount of people who can't differentiate between smartwatch and fitness tracker are too high. People who think smartwatch is expensive, maybe should use fitness tracker that looks like a watch instead.

What's battery life for Gen-6? Gen-5 does not last longer, not even 12 hrs. Hope, battery life is better in new version.

My wear os watch lasts 4 days with the 4100 non plus chipset. The Oppo 2 can do itas well but, not sold everywhere. This and the GW4 are newer but ill stick to my twp3 for a few more years. Ugly but change the watch band and its actually nice imho.

An OLED display, low energy bluetooth, low power cpu, etc. So much low power stuff and yet the battery isn't designed to run with all functions for more than a single day at a time, and battery tech has come a fair way too.
That being said, it's not like that's a new thing. Apple watches, Samsung's, etc - they all barely get more than a day if you're lucky. The only exception I know of was Garmin's Vivoactive series, I loved that watch to pieces and it could easily go 10 days on a full charge, and that was with heart rate monitoring, always on LCD (with backlight that kicks on as needed), etc.
I currently have a samsung galaxy watch, it's alright. I charge it about every 3 days, 4 if I let it get down into single digit battery life - but the screen is always off unless I activate it (not a fan, but oh well), the wifi and GPS are off all the time (I use those on my phone, I don't need it on my watch), and I don't do Dick Tracy-esque stuff like use my watch as a phone or music player.
LITERALLY the purpose of a smart watch for the vast majority of people IS TO BE PAIRED WITH A PHONE. I would rather have my phone do the heavy lifting on tasks like music, calls, gps, etc and have the watch remain an accessory than trying to cram those tasks as primary functions into a watch.

They promote using the best, efficient chipset yet, they give only 24h battery life.is this a joke?smartwatch standard must be 4-5 days.fitbit, huawei, garmin all can do this.people want to keep track of their sleep.so,the watch must not be dead by morning.

24h battery ? Jesus , the vast majority of smartwatches users and future adopter see battery life as very important , why the hell can't they sacrifice 1-2 more mm of thickness to give at least 48h of battery life ? adding 100-150mah cost peanuts.
