Anon, 14 Nov 2012Something cooking at Microsoft, makes me nervous so I think... morePsss, the guy was greedy and a pain in the butt to work with. He wanted to be the next CEO ("promise and announce me or I'll leave", says the rumors), I'm glad he didn't get that. Now finally someone new can take over and make a better working environment.

Despite him, and his way of leading, the rest of the windows team have done a great job on windows 8 - no doubt :)

Something cooking at Microsoft, makes me nervous so I think I will hold off buying windows 8 products and see what pans out over the next 12 months. In the meantime I'll will continue to stay with Android.

If you were in charge of the disaster that is Windows 8 then it would be wise to get out before the sh1t hits the fan. Consumers haven't really noticed Windows 8, but when they wake up on Christmas Day with their shiny new laptop with an illogical model interface that drives them nuts then we will see the real backlash.

mr. sinofsky kows that 8 and WP are going to fail. that is why he is leaving. who knows how much of mr. sinofsky's good ideas hadn't been implemented because the "team" didn't like his attitude? i couldn't stay in such a company eighter.

MS time is over when google hits the market with a full OS based on android and proper support by google anyway.

assuredly, people of such calibre can never tell the reason they left...if he'z planning his own venture, fine...just like the founders of HTC and Samsung
