This could actually be a killer feature in an emergency and it has wide Android adoption too.

Apple is desperately trying to introduce a killer feature in this year's iPhones. Last year's lidar and magsafe were rubbish but the marketing spin on them made them must have features, lol. Probably going to do the same for this satellite link. TheUrge will proclaim it the best reason to buy this year's iPhones and MKBHD will shout it from the mountaintops.
