    It will be quite entertaining to see Bond using a phone without a compass/gyroscope, he or she is just an agent though and it'd probably be less conspicuous than something smaller in terms of product placement. Defined plot-line, maybe why Boyle left the film lol.

    I'm guessing he's using the XR20 in the next film? Perhaps the xr50 is a better size like one handed use but all the phones now are the opposite of the very first touch screen generation for better or worse.

      This is a good phone to fill the gap between the G20 and the X10.

At least HMD Nokia does roll out OS version updates and security patches for budget Android Go and entry-level smartphones. I never see Xiaomi do that at all for their lower-end phones.

                  Basically the same phone as the X10 but with an emphasis on long battery life due to smaller screen size, lower screen resolution, and bigger battery.

Apple gave up the creative industries a while ago and are busy compounding losing that market with leaving x86 behind (the core reason they actually survived and that the iPhone was a success).

                    Nokia as a brand is quite fondly remembered by Apple's previous core market who are a lot more influential than you may think.

The people who have never own other brand then Nokia phone. Anyone who actually understand about electronics and is working around IT sections dont use Nokia or trust it or anything. Also a lot of people start to think what they buy and dont go with the most expensive in the market option and Nokia is one of this most expensive if you see what they offer for 400 euro phone

                          [deleted post]The Nokia brand is very trustworthy in Europe. If Xiaomi and similar were available with Android One it would be helpful in relieving concerns in Europe about software.

                          Having said that the G series are a no sale for me if they don't have a gyroscope as you won't be able to run new developments in software without one going forward, it's a bit silly to leave it out as it's probably a minor component cost and expected in all smart phones as a potential customer.

                          Looking at the Nokia site in my region right now the G series are inferior to the 1.4/3.4/5.4/8.3 for lacking a gyroscope sensor.

                          I don't know what I'd personally use 5G on a mobile phone for as it is of most interest to me when needing high bandwidth sending large files shot on proper cameras. A 5G router is more useful than a phone when you need dependable high bandwidth file transfer.

                          5G is very useful from an infrastructure perspective but in terms of mobile phone use as an individual I cannot think of any use case other than uploading many big files.

Sony just released new midrange after 10 iii this year and way longer back Xperia 10 II from February 2020? Lenovo I see mostly tablets and gaming phones. Of course there is a mid range but not as much as before.

                                    This should have a gyroscope and compass as those things you'd assume are standard on all phones but they're missing from the G series.

                                    I was disappointed with the 4.2 as I'd assumed you'd have these sensors in all phones.

                                    X series look overpriced when comparing what to buy. However Nokia is trustworthy and a great brand and I think the service offering is a good idea in terms of updates.
