    Honor will surpass Best camera phone right now.
    Oppo and vivo too before the end of this year. 2021 december.

At least I preferred the Kirin 990 5g over the snapdragon 870 I'm currently using. The 5g signal was much more stable. Would also prefer the more feature rich skins like Miui, Magic Ui or Origin OS than Oxygen OS. Anyway, we all have different opinions. Software preferences are very subjective

But yeah, Spydroid as whole should simply go and something lighter and better should come. Spydroid is pretty much obsolete by nowadays standards.

              Anonymous, 01 Sep 2021Not gonna get banned unless they go out and be arrogant in ... moreThat's nowhere near as "arrogant" as claiming that Mediatek's SoCs are "based on US technology" hence shouldn't be sold to Huawei because MTK has its chips manufactured by TSMC, which buys their EUV lithography machines from ASML, which in turn partially uses techs patented by some US companies.

              Also, the reason why Huawei got banned by US is literally just they are involved in building 5G telecommunication infrastructure in China, that's it. It was absolutely nothing to do with Apple at all.

TSMC, the Taiwanese chip fabricator that made Kirin chips, is streets ahead of the best US chip fabricator, Intel, and relies on some US patents in their fabrication process, which is the only reason the US can ban them from making Kirin chips. All it takes is a new step in the fabrication process that would those US patents useless. How long do you think the US tech dominance is going to last?

                              Mi12X/Redmi K50 series is coming soon. This will throw out the Honor if Honor camera is not that good. Oppo and Vivo already done great job this year in flagship category. Can't wait to test Vivo X70 Pro Plus.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro rocks with GCam and Pixel Experience rom. Wait for One Plus 9RT. Great hardware and flash Pixel Experience or Havoc OS, it will be device to watch for.

At least they are not like the old Huawei as the thing that made Huawei phones different from the majority of Android manufacturers was the Kirin chipsets and their ISP and 5g modems. Honor can no longer access Kirin chipsets and won't develop their own chips in the near term at least which means they become more like other major brands like Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi. Also they won't use Hongmeng OS on any of their phones released after the split. Design is similar though as they carried across all their existing R&D staff after the split. This year's phones would have been largely designed before the split but it will be interesting to see if designs remain similar for next year's phones which should be 'Honor' developed

                                        Honor is just Huawei with a new name...Won't buy that brand because it will soon be banned by the US. But i must add they make nice phones
