5000mAh is not the problem, the overheating and inefficient SD888 / Exynos 2100 built on Samsung's inferior node is the problem. That and the software optimizations are the reason why the 3500 mAh Iphones can last as long as the 5000 mAh S21 Ultra.

This is a classic business move that usually works out in their favor.

Always great to hear new S series rumors lol

rizki1, 01 Sep 2021while Xiaomi is testing 200w, Samsung is afraid of the note... moreNote was design flaw.

Fast charging is not gonna make phone explode.
Just make battery lifespam way shorter.

Xiaomi promises to keep 80% after 2 years.
If device has 4500mAh, means about 450mAh degradation yearly.
                Too much.
Should be no more than 150.

They can test/support 1000w charging, but if it's not included in the box, I don't care.

[deleted post]in the case of android users that is mostly true, but for them its not, their previous chargers are different than the last one, also, they were giving a 5w charger for years if i remember correctly.

while Xiaomi is testing 200w, Samsung is afraid of the note 7 happening again.

Lithium should be replaced with safer alternative. Companies should work on battery innovation
