11 years ago, Xiaomi was made the butt of jokes and said will close down in a few years or stay in China only but those doubters are eating their own words now. Will history repeat itself and will those doubting that Xiaomi can be successful in making EVs going to eat their own words again?

Chinese? Never. They have been trying to copy European cars for more than three decades and still they are a century behind.

And if this sh*t st... moreI would say most of the Asian cars that get in Europe have way more quality on the parts that matter as the mechanical parts on cars then any European brand that fall apart in 5 years. Yes Asian cars problem is rusting and plastic interior. To be honest the rust issue is already on European cars too as even these have thin metal just like Asian now.
And China soon will be best in technology in everything as they already are pretty good. All these copying they have done and then all the other countries that have used there workers for factories have got the standards way up there.
Electric cars in the future will be like smartphones today. Everyone can make there own brand and be like Nokia or what ever brand that out source there design and everything while just set there own brand name on the device. So basically there are not much to do. Only design interior of lots of screens and exterior of the car and all the rest is pretty much same as every other electric car.
So why would anyone buy a well established European brand and pay 2-3 times the price when things that matter is mostly only electric engine and batteries and you get same thing for a lot less money and in few decades by now probably most of the cars drive on there own only so they are either rent only own one of them that get you from point a to b and that be all you need

Who's Next in line BBK Electronics, Samsung etc. EV is Smartphone on wheels with bigger profit margins, that is why every tech company is attracted to it. Go Big or Go Home.

It's only good for customers as that will bring the electric cars price down. And every electric car right now have there own software issues.
About cloning design then every car today have something from other cars. How long you design a box on 4 wheels that we have already done over 100 years.
And there are lots of car models that are same or with little to no difference with just other car brand name out there. Like Subaru with Toyota or Peugeot, Citroen and Renault doing some car models that look same but only have brand logo different
