rizki1, 04 Sep 2021price is not right even it says cheap for $3999. lolThat's considering the use cases for a medium format camera, in which $3999 is not bad at all.
Obviously if you're not working in the field where you use such type of cameras, then you wouldn't understand it.

Mobilemaster, 04 Sep 2021Ouch! You pay 4000+ Dollars, and video quality is only 1080p...That 1080p is FAR FAR better than that crappy 8K low bit rate footage from your S21 Ultra or Mi 11 Ultra.

Sarcastic or not, this is just plain stupidity.

Those who are commenting regarding the price and video recording is the same as those who question why a farm truck cost a lot that normal car and yet only run like 20 miles 😏

Hbk112, 04 Sep 2021I think thw 1080p limit is just for market segmentation... ... moreProbably cpu limitation.

I think thw 1080p limit is just for market segmentation... Otherwise who'll buy the pricier ones

Jacek, 04 Sep 2021They didn't say "cheap" but "the most a... moreExactly, the article doesn't even say cheap. People don't seem to understand that this is a medium format camera as well. You get an advantage with that sensor.

ae86, 04 Sep 2021No wonder you have that comment to upvote ratio here.... lmao

I doubt anyone would go for this. It is a good deal for the specs, but when you spend so much, you would rather go for a bigger brand (altho honestly fujifilm is big enough). I don't know many people who make a living out of only stills, as videos are much more sought after. It's just more content, and these days it's even more convenient. Considering anyone would hire a freelancer to do their wedding pictures...

rizki1, 04 Sep 2021price is not right even it says cheap for $3999. lolUsually medium format cost over $10.000.
                      Check those from Hasselblad.

And I remember times, when digital still cameras were... well, still cameras and they didn't have video recording of any kind...

Treat this Fuji as a still camera. Wanna 4K or 8K video? Think about RED V-Raptor ST ;)

Only for people who shoots stills. And also not fast moving subjects like sports or wildlife.
So this narrows down to only very limited uses. A static landscape photography, static fashion photography (like in a studio for commercials).
Not good for video, sports, weddings. This is for people who wants medium format on cheap and cheap has its limitations.

Do not forget that TV channels use 1080i and 1080p.

You pay 4000+ Dollars, and video quality is only 1080p...You forget that this is medium format camera with a sensor bigger than full frame and 50 MP too. Yes, the GFX 100s is better in all aspects but people buying these are looking for quality not quantity.

also, this is more of a stills cam, there are better video alternatives out there including the X-T4.
