S21 Ultra lacks local dimming.
S21 Ultra is 200 nits less bright.
S21 Ultra is stuck on 16M colors.

Also IPhone 12 pro Max is clearly not using Samsung panel alone. Another one is from LG. You know nothing buddy.

AMB means flexible. Oled can be flexible or rigid.
Rigid is used for midranges/low ends.

The ability to bend to achieve that design increases price a lot.
What is called E3 and E4 are the luminescent materials of the screen.
S21 series uses M11, not E4.
Apple uses M as well.
While Samsung Display sells M to Samsung Mobile, Sony Electronics and Apple; they sell E panels to all rest.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2021Cost cutting. Cheap.Correct, apple never used best panels. They get good trusted ones usually previous generation and adjust everything else with software. In the end they look good, especially when you change from IPS. Another reason why is that apple NEVER use brand new, best tech. For iPhone X they used 4 years old camera used by Samsung since Galaxy S7, and this is just one of the examples but you can Google many similar. They like to test things before using them and as they do it's already cheaper as most of other brand moved on
