This sounds really good. Hopefully, we will see more smartphones with Dimensity SoCs in Europe.

Intel amd don't get blamed there chips heat up but PC laptop use cooling methods too get more from the chip.

Early next year, what's the use of that, it was supposed to be by end of this year. Might as well buy a 898. I want a 2400 next year, and 3000 late next year.
How come the Chinese haven't got low energy 7nm and less fabs out by now. The performance market for portables is a bust, most portable devices and internet of things, need extra low energy. I am surprised the main manufacturers have not gone for high end performance process for performance models, low energy for high end cheap models. I'm not wanting to pay $1000 for extra MHz, when low energy with good video camera circuites would do at $500.
I have to admit, low energy fab processes are a bit counter intuitive, as the lowest energy process might have a much larger feature size.

What people don't seem to understand is that no matter who produces the chips whether they be TSMC or Samsung. What matters is what Qualcomm, MediaTek or Samsung (Exynos) they design, if the chip they designed is crap then no matter who produces them it always be crap.

Especially since they are cheaper. Dimensity 1200 is pretty capable chipset and I wouldn't mind having it in my phone. I just wish those crappy P series would just go away and get replaced by G8x series and move the rest of the products on superior Dimensity chipsets.
