The Redmi K40 series only had IP53 to offer and the fastest charging speed was 67W.

    Im happy and satisfied with my 67w 39 minutes charge (mi 11 ultra) and i maybe use it 2 times each week.
    Usally i have plenty mah back in the end of the day, so i never stress for charging and im not the only one in the world feels like this.

    Even i dont care of the battery, because i buy atleast 1 new phone each year, then i still take care of the battery in a way. Always give my "old" phones to some family🙄🤣

            I hope it can charge the phone from 20% to 90% in less than 10 minutes because that's my usual operating range for all my phones to avoid excessive degradation. IP ratings is a nice bonus to have.

              Interesting, 100W charger can charged the phone from under 25% till 100% in just less than 22 minutes I guess. That's good. I like ultra fast charging.

But when phones that are marketed to be water resistant, even if water damage isn't covered under warranty the company can be to some degree be held accountable. If IP-rated/marketed phones die to environments that it rated to protect said companies or organization can possibly be sued.

                  It's super useless ,and if they upgrade the camera then it will be a complete flagship with the same price as a flagship and that's what you don't want and I don't,

                    Also Snapdragon make their soc expensive after each year ,let alone the other incremental upgrades
                    If Xiaomi did a redmi k serie at 400 dollars before , don't expect it to be same price for the next newer one

                      Ip68 is useless ,remove it and make price cheaper while still having a very good water Resistance

                        The K series is supposed to be cheap. They better not jack up the prices on these.

A phone that only passes IP53 (for example Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro) is obviously less water resistant than a phone that passes IP69 (e.g. CAT S52), because people who make these tests don't pull the results out of their butts.

                                      Anonymous, 08 Sep 2021It's a Budget flagship and the cameras aren't bad Yeah, my point is the cameras setups are getting worse though. The k30 had a better main sensor that the k40. The k40pro was slightly downgraded in ultrawide from the k30pro (same main) and the k40pro+ had worse overall cameras than the k30 pro zoom. I didn't say that they are bad just that they are not focusing on cameras in the series since the k30pro zoom so I think that trend is likely to continue. Xiaomi has more focus on cameras in other models like the Xiaomi 10s for example which is around the same price (slightly more expensive) as the regular k40pro
