              Glad we can agree that their sensors are the best out there. Some actually do consider the QB to be their best sensors, but they're free to think so.

                          If the Sony has dual focal lengths within a single periscope module, its curious why other smartphone companies don't have double or triple zoom ranges. That could ensure much smoother zoom, and the need for way lesser camera modules.

                              This is where I have grave doubts about actual zoom lenses on phones at the moment. Good zoom lenses on cameras are very bulky with substantial mechanisms. Trying to fit that into a phone case could result in very fragile cameras.

Huawei made a phone with 8mp 1... moreHuawei made a fixed lens camera, that has focal lenght 10 times of the basic camera. But that's not zoom. That's two fixed lens cameras in one body. And with very different sensors and mainly very different output (and a very bad one).
                                  Except Samsung's K zoom and S4 zoom no one ever made a 10x zoom camera.

                                    Guys. I have the dumbest but best camera setup. If u literally make a super small battery and put as small as components as possible and then u put a an main uw 1.5x 2x 2.5x 3x etc etc up till 10x. With this setup if u put a 40mp imx 766 or imx 682 or even hm2 on all of them then it would be a super good setup. Anyway if they make it so that every one of the sensors can make high quality image between the 0.5x difference so it doesn't make much difference eit would be sick

And thta swhy for wya simpler terms we use simple 10x. And yes its not 10x but the quality would be dogsh*t anyway so there is no point.
