I've got a feeling, that raised camera bar will be a problem when you put it in your pocket.

So disappointed in Google's design language this year. Chasing the iPhone girls crowd. I hope they clean it up by Android 13 or 14. It's not like I'm crazy about Samsung's One UI either. It's a little too MySpace backgrounds circa 2006 with all that glitter gifs to me.
None of them are coming up professional-looking UIs. I guess some of us are getting too old and these companies will no longer cater to us first. They're going after the Zoomers born around 2000-2003. The young adults crowd. So pastels and neon colors everywhere.

The custom automatic color theme setting, across the whole system, is horrible. They already tried that and got rid of it in the Messages app. I really hope you can disable it.
Also, giant camera hump, bad idea. No one ever likes these.
Only the new in house chipset is a real improvement over previous Pixels.

More stuff on the Pixel 6 and Android 12.

Gawd, I hate the look of Android 12. It's like when I first saw iOS7 back in 2013. It's too feminine and catered to teenagevgirls who flood their iPhones with hideous widgets on YouTube. Pastel colors everywhere.

Guys I have a question, since the Google Pixel 6 series won't use a Snapdragon SoC, would GCam ports be possible?

Macaulay Culkin, 10 Sep 2021Just not a fan of that rear belt or Android 12's aesth... moreThe rear belt is not a bad design from a functionality perspective. The phone will sit flat on a desk without a case, with a slight tilt towards the user.
The Pixel series may not have the wow factor of a foldable, but it is needed. Right now, we're mostly limited to Samsung or Apple if you want a flagship phone in North America. For Android, it's pretty much just one of three Samsung devices. We need more companies with high-end offerings available.

Just not a fan of that rear belt or Android 12's aesthetics. I do hope Google shocks us with a Pixel Fold teaser. Thinking of getting an older Pixel like a panda 2 XL to keep unlimited storage with Google Photos even if it's no longer uploaded in original quality.
I just feel like Pixel 6 and iPhone 13 announcements will be boring since you can see the industry heading into foldables. It's going to happen whether we like it or not. Loving my Flip 3 more and more. My next phones might only be flip phones. No turning back now.

Hope it impresses me. If all the hype is for nothing, then nooooo. But based on specs, it should be excellent.
