They have to make it dust and water proof!!!!!! And with a more powerful Krait Quad CPU and Adreno 320 GPU, at least!!
I'll be happy with Qualcomm and Sony again then :)

I m 16 yrs old. In fyjc. Nd frm past two yrs i have been d biggest fan of sony. I love dr phones alot. Whn d phones released in india d xperia u.xperia p. Xperia s. I was like woooowww mahhn. Ds phones were so stylish. Nd looks very decent in hand. Nd after ds phones were released d another day i buyed xperia u. Nd it has been more dn 8 months. Nd i have evn made a tatoo of sony logo on my shoulder.
Cuming to d phones nw. Ys everybody u al r rite dat sony has bcum slow n late in comparison wid d samsung nd al phones.
Bt nwadays i m very disappointed wid ds sony phones as nw samsang s4 is cumin nd sony is makin phn which wil compete wid s3. Its poor sony.
Nd i think i shud erase my sony tatoo frm my shoulder. Day by day dy r goin far behind. Very poor. Bt i still love sony.nd i l be desperately waiting dat sony removes somethng amazing which will compete wid sammy s4. I l be still waiting

i love the brand "sony".and i am proud to say that no other brands including(apple samsung or nokia)are able to match quality with sony.sony always offers maximum qwality in minimum price.that makes sony #1 in world.

I use to be a big Sony fan but not any more why, cause they don't listen. They don't listen to there customers or consumers and give them what they want alone side what new features and innovation they have to offer. Its not just with Sony phone but with every Sony devices (if not all most) that they have come out with in the last 4 years are failing why, cause they were not listening for the beginning and now they are getting left behind and trying to catch up how sad.

Sony is doing well too and both Sony and Samsung have done a lot...but Oled..sony may have dabbled in it a tad first but in no way innovated it. That was most definitely samsung...And how on earth is blueray their innovation? Playstation is great but not a phone til you mention psvida(Which has terrible problems) and xperia play...outdated before release) though still great for what they are. And Samsung just throwing features? They innovated the oleds, The omnia hd, cameras has been huge with sammy, projectors, they make so many of the best chips its not funny.

samsung has done very well but that doesn't change my opinion about them. We all are angry at sony because they have the potential to lead but they can't. samsung are recording profits without innovations. Adding more features to already existing gadgets is very good but doesn't make one an innovator! .the walkman, playstation, psp, blueray, oled etc thes are sony's innovations but the internal problems in sony has made them lost to competitors. My respect and regards will always go to company's that innovates! So if sony goes down today i will shift to apple!

They have been playing the game and making things for a long time too. And they have brought the first to most mega pixel updates and usually were among the top more so rivaled by Nokia than Sony. Not to say Sony has not been up there. And lets not forget the first HD capable phone. Samsung Omnia HD

there are some news here on sony that gets less than 50 comments. It is the importance of the news to consumers that really counts. Every sony fans want sony to bring to the table a true flagship that will set the pace for others. That is why this particular news has more comments 'like no other

JzN, 20 Nov 2012You must be quite young because those phones have only been... morec902/905? They are still somewhat recent history. Instead talk about T610 and K700, those where true market changers with sale numbers that matched their claims :)
And let's not forget the very first SonyEricsson, the T68 (which was inherited from Ericsson).
That was the pioneer for all the "camera phones" that came afterwards -- it's the very first phone with a (true) color screen and the one that introduced the whole MMS concept as we know it.
(Note: previous Siemens color phones weren't actually in "color", but rather an illusion of color with a few shades of green)
Despite all that, how the mighty have fallen!
Nowadays they are not the market innovators, they are the followers that want to surpass the innovators (Manufactures like Samsung and Apple create new things, Sony just says "me too").
On top of that, I am very reluctant to buy an Android phone from Sony knowing what their support looks like. Apparently they lack any coherent strategy, they flood the market with models which they do not intend to support and their flagships support gets killed within a year. Thanks but no thanks!

Sony was then innovators and felt that they set the standand for others to follow. That was why they were the last to adopt important features like mp3 format, micro sd, 3.5mm audio jack pot, divx, etc when competitors had already provided them. I provided a link pls check it out.
