MIUI is really crap. Was hoping Xiaomi can make this a Android One vanilla version instead.

Sadly, there was no DC Dimming option on 11 Lite 5G. My eyes can't stand phones without it.

Tristanj, 13 Sep 2021At least this NE won't heat, thanks to tsmc.Yes, great little phone but the heat was just too much for my llking.
Bought it and sell it in just a couple of days.
It was overheating, stuttering, a real mess of a phone.
Personally i think that the miui is the problem but who knows.

I knew this was inevitable, they're running out of SD780 chips. Nobody else is using it but them, which speaks volumes of that chipset's availability.

They're running a promotion in my country with a €100 discount on the current 11 Lite 5G. Seems like I should jump on that one?

"The big change is likely in the chipset department where the NE is said to utilize the Snapdragon 778G instead of the SD 780G SoC."
It's not really a big change since both 778G and 780G offers exactly the same performance. If Xiaomi goes for Snapdragon 768G, that would make some sense.
