I just think the battery capacity is to low considering the fact that xiaomi need to be upgrading..

MIUI is really crap. Was hoping Xiaomi can make this a Android One vanilla version instead.

Was waiting for this one. The only phone on market beside Pixel 5 phone that have symmetrical bezels.

Sadly, there was no DC Dimming option on 11 Lite 5G. My eyes can't stand phones without it.

Oh, if only they would bring back the in-display fingerprint reader from the Mi 10 series… 😩

Tristanj, 13 Sep 2021At least this NE won't heat, thanks to tsmc.Yes, great little phone but the heat was just too much for my llking.
Bought it and sell it in just a couple of days.
It was overheating, stuttering, a real mess of a phone.
Personally i think that the miui is the problem but who knows.

YUKI93, 13 Sep 2021"The big change is likely in the chipset department wh... moreThere's actually some difference in performance between the two, 780 is about 5-8% faster in both CPU and GPU. That difference is obviously negligible in practice tho.

I knew this was inevitable, they're running out of SD780 chips. Nobody else is using it but them, which speaks volumes of that chipset's availability.

YUKI93, 13 Sep 2021"The big change is likely in the chipset department wh... moreSnapdragon 768G is reserved for next years Redmi Note line up. That is the cheapest available option for Redmi Note line up. Snapdragon 778G will be utilized for this as its made up by TSMC and best available chipset in midrange segment.

They're running a promotion in my country with a €100 discount on the current 11 Lite 5G. Seems like I should jump on that one?

"The big change is likely in the chipset department where the NE is said to utilize the Snapdragon 778G instead of the SD 780G SoC."

It's not really a big change since both 778G and 780G offers exactly the same performance. If Xiaomi goes for Snapdragon 768G, that would make some sense.
