my friend own one of this Lenovo, same application design and appearance here, Tanzania.

He came back with it from China, bad luck its only in Chinese language and funny enough it has some sort of whatsapp application which can communicate with other users.

Very good design but its battery life is poor.

No point keep coming out new phone, just come out the phone which very long lift battery, one full charge can last for a week in talk time, or can be sure web for few day on phone. others feature just follow Samsung Note 2. if you can dual sim. I can see your product will be better than others.

Go for it Lenovo, you usually have high quality computers in the business end with attention to detail on finishing touches.
I just hope you keep it pocket friendly, i believe you can do a 4inch screen or a smidge over yet keep it smaller in overall real estate to that on the HTC one S. That way its one hand operation without over stretching. Give us good battery life and expandable memory if required, the dual sim and you have a total winner my friend. Keep up the good work.

Jason, 18 Nov 2012Well.. more like there is no room for Apple to compete anym... moreWell said. It's sour grapes. That's why they say we are jelos to their fruitphones. It's so unreal when they say that, I have a note 2, what reason could I possible have to want an ip? There's really nothing about it to justify paying the $199 they ask. Of course I would have bought one if I wanted it, would have saved me $549 to get ip instead of note 2.

Jason, 18 Nov 2012Well.. more like there is no room for Apple to compete anym... moreI have to give honors to your post again. Its hard to grasp what is the arguments of apple fans, theres really nothing they can say to justify an iphone over an Android, and the boundary is getting more and more distant from any real world argument. I mean, iphone5 didnt even launch with HD resolution, i was shocked to say it the least, and now even the CHINA MANUFACTURERS are coming with Full HD???

Then add what we already know about iphone: Dependent on itunes, full of restrictions, a multitasking that cannot even compare to Windows 3.11, the list goes on and on.

Here you are apple, way beyond a disrespected chinese brand, then how can you even dream about competing with samsung and sony? I can only imagine how much iphone users envy my Note 2, if it was me i would feel like the ugly duckling, the Skoda parked between two Ferrari, and then comes a bunch of chinese cars and outshines the Skoda as well, and then it turns out it was even made in the same factory in china? What is this, what is happening to the smartphone market, how much longer can we justify classifying iphone as a smartphone? Not long!

The most important thing about this phone is the fact that it has dual sim. In a lot of countries most of people has 2 sims, usually one on contract and another pre-payed. And a hi-end phone to fit them both is a very nice option to have. This market is virgin till now(Hing-end phones with dual sim), the best dual sim phones are mediocre, ad best (like Htc Desire V or Samsung Duos).
The problem is that people don't like to see that their "beautiful" phone..is not an investment anymore, like they used to feel. They are very expensive, by anyone's standard, be them from emergent countries or Western Europa or USA. And they (phones) get obsolite very fast, in maximum 1 year. Apple is speculating this feeling very well, by releasing one phone at time, usually at about 1 year. Other companies, are in trend with progress, and are forced to release phones more often, just to keep up with competition. But, even now Apple is on a descendant trend because the differences are starting to be very big, even that they can still keep up the pace. They have to learn from Nokia's mistakes (remember how Nokia refused to switch to smartphones and now are struggling to get back into the market?) or Blackberry's ones..or Apple will have the same fate...sooner or later.
Someone commented why is China anytime when we heard about a new good phone? Because we all know China has the cheapest work force and one of the best in skills, training and very serious. We, in Europe and USA, have become more lazy, we have higher life standards and expectations (be them justified or not) and the costs of the phones will be double if they are to be produced here. So..where will be the companies profit? (like Appple's one form 200 USD/piece cost of production to 850 Euro its cost contract free?)
There are a lot to be discussed and debated..for example the battery life. I own a HTC ONE X and, like lot of users i'm dissapointed to have around just 3 hours of screen on usage till the battery dies. But after some thinking I realised that I waste 3h/day of my life starring at a screen...and that's..disturbing for me. From thi point of view..the battery is not that small..because it's a waste of life to be addicted in this way to lose 3 h/day just like this..and we have to change our habits..:)
in the end..kudos to Lenovo...and their attempt to cover the market of high end phones with dual sim
