Major update enables PlayStation 5's M.2 drive, improves game streaming and more

PS Remote Play users can now stream over their phone's data connection. Also, 3D audio can now work over the stereo speakers on your TV.

    AnonD-454049, 15 Sep 2021no sata ssd support wtf?! I can game just fine even using an hddYou can play games from your external HDD or SSD, but only ps4 games. To be able to play a ps5 game they MUST be installed on a supported gen4 nvme ssd.

        Still no VRR-support? Wow. How come it takes so long to implement such an important gaming-related feature. Should have been there from day 1.

          It is a concern if that SSD expansion can't be cooled properly because of high read and write

            I think PC is starting to look great, atleast since some PlayStation exm kiss are coming to the PC platform.
