You don't need PC or mobile games either. And you completely missed the point. People buy the Switch because they want to play Switch games and play console games in handheld mode.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2021Wow..You sure talk big yet know nothing about the gaming is... moreoutdated, it's newer than switch released in 2017, i think you need to replace your laggy headphones to prevent this audio lag as it's obivous that nearly all reputable brands don't have this issue, i have used my playstation 4 pro and ps vita and ps vita tv with regular bluetooth 4.1 and there is no noticeable audio lag on any of these equipment, thus, i doubt that switch will have any audio lag, also note that aptx ll (as well as aptx hd) is qualcomm licenced techology, chances that nvidea system on a chip won't support any aptx tech full stop.

Switch is still using bluetooth 4.1 which gonna cause noticeable audio lag when gaming with bluetooth headphones

LOL but sure, show off your outdated, overpriced placebo audio gear when nobody asks or cares. What a pretentious audio snob.

nice to see nintendo implemented this as software update than only releasing it with new oled switch and leave old ones with no bluetooth audio, seems more useful feature than apples ios 15 update, note that last gen playstation 3 and ps vita/ps vita tv had this feature, so it can not be that hard to implement.

Unless there is like AptX LL support, it won't really make any difference, since it would be much more annoying than useful.
