BUT, when you want to learn more and dive into more advanced research neither are similar, or they have extremely few similarities. IF we could give human eyes a resolution and a refresh rate, it would CONSTANTLY change. there are so many variables for this, what you look at, distance, awareness, focus, etc. the human eye could technically be 144p or 32k more or less, 20Hz or 300Hz it constantly changes, neither are comparable.

If a fully loaded iPhone came out with matching software a decade ago, you would not be seeing so called major updates every 12 months, fact!, I mean I still don’t have a proper file manager on my 12 pro max, $50 androids have that 😂😂

But if I want to have sensation of glass when holding the phone, I can still have that by NOT using the plastic case. How are you going to achieve that with existing plastic back? If you're going to be putting on a plastic case anyway, why not just go with Plastic back phone and skip the case altogether? It's also going to weigh less. Like you're not even going to be looking at the Glass anyway. Cheap plastic case on a glass phone objectively looks worse than a phone with a plastic back and weighs more(extra weight of the glass+case). My last plastic back phone was extremely durable. My flagship glassback phone already has a minor crack from a drop, had to put on a thicker case.

what is the point of all this year by year increase in central processing power in both android and ios and chip manufacturer claim that the smaller the chip get it get more powerful and energy efficient - energy efficient i doubt so and no one has truly found a cooling method that will keep the most powerful chip cool and throttling would not be needed. would like to see advancement in area like battery tech / cooling tech rather than cpu power as I feel that power is not needed in such a small package. most chip irrespective of central processing power can run the most basic duty like web browsing / playing video / proper phone call / good quality sound/ playing of games to a certain level - actually to the normal user out there most would notice the difference in performance between a snapdragon 668 / 888 and a15 but they would notice if battery run out fast or phone get hot quickly and phone become slow due to throttling. personally I feel cpu power is at the end stage already. it's just a Ferrari car Engine so powerful it can reach 2.8 seconds but at the end of the day most users would just want the engine to drive the car that's all.

Also, it's not as exaggerated as being the worse like what 'android' dudes claimed. Whoever that says - android has better: display, camera, battery, 'chipset', thermal control, build quality, software, and extreme fast charging. Not forgetting about the ' cheap ' pricetag here. And no one android phone has all of these 'spec of an imaginary phone' used for comparison against iPhone.
Now here is what only iPhones is capable of (things that couldn't be argued about) : Best software experience, TOP performing chipset of the industry (by a mile), Best water resistance, software updates, more care for device (bloatware, battery life and overheating amongst others).

I guess if you're a light user that won't mean much but there are drawbacks to new updates. Not accounting random freezes, overheats and lags.

Phones are small so it’s a bit pointless to put heatsinks etc. because the heat will get trapped anyway, unless you swap the glass back with aluminium or create holes on the frame like the Red Magic, which many phones won’t do.
Laptops do much better, so if you want to play games just buy a slim gaming laptop. Nearly all mobile games cannot even utilise the maximum performance of a phone

Are you guys still trusting geekbench lmao iphone 12 pro max have big lead in both single core and multi core than SD 888 and xperia 1 mark 3 with SD 888 beats 12 pro max in real world test and SD 888 used only the half of cortex x1 cache size and 2.84 ghz clock speed and think what if they used the full cache size and 3.1 ghz and newly announced cortex a510 have 35% performance increased over a55 and cortex X2 have 16% performance increased over X1 and a710 also have little performance increase and only one problem Both SD 888 and EXYNOS 2100 have is the samsung 5nm node they have made, if they went with same node 12 pro max a14 bionic used it will less heat,more efficiency and increased performance and android 12 google said its optimize for increased performance soo maybe the chance of android phones performance getting high have higher chances. Soo lets wait and see what A15 bionic do against upcoming SD 898 in real world test and the joke is apple A15 bionic beats upcoming intel alder lake in single core and that will only happen in joke geekbench lmao
