They HAVE to put in a bezel for the internal display cable, so there's really no incentive for them to be chasing for extreme display coverage. The wise move would've been to put two speakers on there, like the ASUS RoG 5 or the Sony 1.3, and cram all the other sensors in there. Sure top-bottom bezels make the phone a little longer. So just leave the standard display untouched.

And if the CEO/designer is an idiot, and is "compelled" to touch the display. Well, instead of a Square-16:9 screen, they could maybe round the corners and stretch it to a 17:9 ratio. It will be more usable than these weird 19:9 screens, look just as nice, be actually functional, and it will make for a more compact device. But those would be logical/rational design choices, and apparently we can't have that.

    I hope its an amoled. The s 778g and amoled seem like a solid deal. Hopefully it's same pric ess predecessor. Or even 50 bucks more should be enough. And they should add ip 53.

                      They should put good speaker on top and make top bezel same sized as bottom one.

                        IQ00 is providing good competition to Realme and Redmi these days in the value for money segment (at least in China).
