      I have serious doubts that it will bring the GN1 sensor. In any case, if this were so, this would be a great decision. We would have a low-mid-range smartphone with a sensor of 1.2 micrometers per pixel and 2.4 superpixel with binning.

          Is the camera really GN1 with 1.2nm pixels or JN1 with 0.6nm pixels?

              Is it really the 1/1.31 sensor ?

                This 50MP is just a small sensor 1/2.76" with 0.64um pixel size, if it is Samsung ISOCELL JN1. Nothing special when compared to already existing 48MP ISOCELL GM2 1/2.25" sensor with 0.8um pixels. At least some people will consider 50MP superior to 48MP without looking into sensor size.
                Same in redmi 10/prime. All hype.

                      But quality is compromised, memeUI, proximity sensor, overheating, bad quality selfie cameras, the saved video on xiaomi phones has jerks and stutters because they use fake UFS storage which can't keep up with camera bitrate, u can compare storage benchmarks of all xiaomi devices. Their UFS2.1 is equal to ufs 2.0 and ufs2.0 is equal to emmc chips

                                So? I bought a Redmi Note 10 for my nephew 2 months ago for 130 and it is better than this 8i...while having also 5000mAh and the sensor is 48Mpx...
                                It has IP53, gorilla Glass 3, ultrawide camera, stereo speakers, IR port, 33W fast charge...all things the 8i doesn't have...

                                    Probability they have used same sensor as on oneplus nord 2 or realme gt master explorer. I am expecting flagship grade camera performance.
