Most of my girfriends own samsungs and I`m not impressed by them, they lag, android is flat and only icons like the iphone, nothing special! So I went to see the nl 800 and anfter my time with it I`m so waiting for the update to buy it! It`s so fast and fluid! And thank god for no tupid skins like tuchwiz

nokia fan boys said that nokia don't need 1 ghz processor; doesn't need bigger ram; .etc. etc.. look at nokia right now? copying android style?

maybe update this make wp 7.x better like transfer data with bluetooth, black screen if calling, sync phone with dekstop or laptop no must zune software or and so sensitive device like hang or stack position tile not full what ever i like this os and lumia new, design new, one think i feel different and nice feel with else like plagiat...ndeso

i can wait for the update, glad to know Microsoft still cares about windows phone 7 users. Android ,ios users should start switching noooooow !!!!

Excuse me ? Are you talking about comparing a rock age android phone : "Samsung Galaxy Ace" with windows phones ? Lol man, you must be living under the same rock as Galaxy Ace :D I can understand that you have used only one android phone in you entire life and have literally no experience on windows phones, but believe me when i say this,"You will grow up one day" :)

so let me get this straight...
Wp is awesome because it doesnt need a multicore it just needs a single core ...fastforward to today...old devvices cant get wp8, only 7.8...why is that ...cause it needs 2+ cores.
So where is your justification now ? Soon nookia will be using 2 krait cores...why the need for such power ?
nokia fanboys are mocking android which actually runs perfectly on 600 mhz cpus while the last symbian to run close to that, 400 something mhz, did so with imense lag and nowhere the smoothness of android.
Also nokia fanboys mock android with 1 ghz and up and one core and up for requiring too much power YET ICS iis running perfectly on 800 mhz xperia phones and htc phones and lg l3 and l5 etc.

at least windows needs to encourage companies to make applications for windows phone 8 os , or the version 8 will be same as the older windows phone versions - in other words a failure . limited capabilities and limited applications makes people skip windows phones and go for android , i os and bb os . when people pay for a smart phone these days they just dont expect there phone to be something like a nokia n95 , they expect there phones to do much much more . at least tell me if opera mobile is available for windows phone yet ? one thing i must say the live tile menu of window phone is smooth .

Factory resets and davik c... morebro ive owned ace,then galaxy sl,now has galaxy nexus and lumia 920.nexus is good for nerds who like to play around with their device.but 99% people out there wants a phone which works perfect out of box.they may not have time to sit and root their device or unlock bootloader change kernel install custom roms and all.
Lumia 920 is a perfect daily driver i use it as my daily driver,microsoft designed an os based on common people`s need not for a small fraction of geeks.and you dont have any right to complain about a windowsphone unless you use one as your daily driver

dude check out lumia 610..they work equally smooth..but apps installation and execution makes galaxy ace freeze sometimes need restart..610 is better even 510

As far as I know, there are differences between Google and Microsoft. Google's android is always free for anyone to develop. But the story is different about wp. Windows phone platform should be open source to gain the market share. Then You can make it closed source. But, microsoft's this attitude screws them. They never won the battle against symbian while being windows mobile and now being windows phone isn't doing great either for these years. Lumia 920 is a great phone but I will still choose android. And Google never asks for my credit card number.
