Akinaro, 17 Sep 2021Funny thing is that gopro is probably more used in movies n... moreNone is gonna use 1/2.3" for recording a movie.
Many cameras out there have better capabilities than Go Pro.

Cameras like GoPro and Sony RX0 are easy to carry around, light weight and small.
They can easily rest on surfaces and to their jobs.
That is why they exist.

Fearghast, 17 Sep 2021I own 4K IPS displays on my PC for more than ... 6? Really ... moreWe are talking about videos, not movies. And only 4k for your computer? Come back when you can afford 8k screens.

Kindly name 1 movie recorded with gopro only! I'm waiting.

AnonD-940827, 17 Sep 2021I still don't understand why the high resolution video... more4k shot on the tiny smartphone camera sensor looks like 720p shot on a M43 and larger sensor. There is way too much noise and too much noise reduction, and the video and photo quality looks very mushy on 27inch and larger displays. On 60inch and larger TVs, it looks like 480p.
So, therefore, it's great to have the option of shooting at 4k, and converting it into 1080p, so that the noise and colour look much better and sharpness and detail also improve, substantially.

I honestly pity the fools (shameless T reference) :D who watch movies on phones.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 20214K TVs are actually common now and affordable.Last time I looked, 4k screens (TV's) are not capable of displaying 5.3k resolution. So the extra resolution offered is a complete waste for a majority of users. Even those who carry around their 4x TV's... Work that one Einstein...

And you always travel with your 4k TV? As I said. 95% watch stuff on their phones/tablets/ipads.

But enjoy bringing your TV everywhere.

Funny thing is that gopro is probably more used in movies nowdays than normal cameras( mostly due to all action shoots) than in actual sport activities as its advertised...

I still don't understand why the high resolution video recording. 95% of the viewers are using phone/tablet/ipads, which can't even show 4k. A very few units can. Most users on computers are even only using full HD.
