Mid range?
Pft.
A7 is, at best, equipped with budget chipset.
So, how can A8 be classified as mid range.

Still, I do agree that if this series come with s pen (free) and updated and optimized os experience.

It will be a steal

Of coz, the price must be set below iPad base model

in tables market, its hard even for samsung to beat base ipad model which starts at 329$ and you can even find it for 299$ or 279$ sometimes rarely, main reason is how long the updates are going to be supported and how timely updates are released, both are difficult to meet for android tablets. And apple silicon, display quality even though it has lcd, all those are tough to beat at that price, and now apple base ipad starting storage is also 64gb, which makes it even worse for android tablets. I am a huge android fan when it comes to phones, but its hard to suggest android tablet with that base apple ipad model at the price range and features

Hoping this one will come with S-Pen which haven't been included for this series after Tab A6 2016. They should upgrade it to the good old SD 72x or 73x too while keeping the price at ~$300 or below as its predecessors. More than that, people will choose Mi Pad 5 or the new base iPad instead.

I'm still waiting for a new version of Tab A 8.0 with S Pen. We haven't seen that since 2019.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 202110.4 is way too small. Phones are 6.7inch these days. Give ... moreFor that Samsung Galaxy has the Tab S8 Ultra, that will have a 14.6" OLED display, with 3K resolution. That seems perfect for productivity. Especially for photo and video editing.

I wish they kept the rounded edges and didn't go the way of new flat edges trend
