According to The Verge, some users have tried to solve the software freezes and battery issues by wiping their devices, but this has resulted in some devices left stuck on the Nokia splash screen. "

windows phone brings nothing new to the table. microsoft was way too late in the smartphone industry and is now paying for it.
android devices have been getting improved battery life, while windows phone 8 has atrocious battery life, more so than windows phone 7. moreover, windows phone gets random reboots and software freezes.

I have owned an s3 and now a note 2 running jellybean. If you really want to compare a windows phone why not try compare it with the latest samsung beasts (galaxy s3 & note 2). I'm pretty sure you would have a second opinion.

moi, 20 Nov 2012if you have the money just buy!! beside money you must have 16 inch long and 8 inches wide basketball player hands to use it properly. my sgs 3 is impossible to use with one hand. personally i wanna the same specifications on two diagonal type of display like all lcd tvs. i want the technology, but not more 4,3-4,6 inch maximum,for god sake

they will underclock the cpu to 1,7Ghz. ==" quad-core A15 CPU with 2Ghz even could run a heavy desktop game. The Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15 in nexus 10 have 2760 Geekbench which isn't too far from recent laptops.
And if they bring it quad-core.

I dont think there is much A15 there, then they would perform better than iphone5, since apples A15 core is clocked much lower than current dualcore kraits. Lets wait for next gen exynos and we will probably see a dramatic performance advantage over krait, maybe except in the one benchmark where krait humiliates A9. In the other benchmark krait isnt much better than A9, and its slower than A9 on javascript and browsermark.

Don't be blinded by your fanboyism. I don't own an SGS3 as I detest its design but I've seen and use it a LOT of times. It's everywhere. Two of my colleagues have that phone. And it's no better than the Lumia 920 which I just recently bought. The SGS3 feels like a toy compared to my Lumia 920. And you think the SGS3 has a fantastic screen until you get to see the Lumia 920 display. I encourage you to try a Lumia 920 on a cell shop and judge for yourself. Former Android users who have gone Lumia never went back. Trust me. It's also the case with iPhone users. Because I was once one myself.

Lag on SIII - where do you live? Did any of you guys tried JB - Galaxy SIII is as smooth as ios 60fps (project butter)- with tons of custom samsung futures - like real multiwindow multitasking, sbeam....

I don't think it'll be much faster than any CPUs on the market right now. I still believe the Krait cores are based on A15. Their pure CPU performance are twice than the A9 with the same clock speed
