How is the pro model have lesser mah t... moreIt has more tech inside than vanilla iPhone 13, space inside phone is limited, battery is as big as it can be, they changed everything inside their pro models to make room for larger batteries than before, it was shown in keynote.

XR had just shy of 3000mAh, vanilla iPhone 13 has 3250mAh. A15 is a more efficient chipset, but also boosts higher so it'll probably last far longer on standby, but about the same or possibly even less under load. I still wonder how come Apple can't fit larger batteries. When you look their disassembly, it's not like there is empty space not being used by battery. Everything is filled and they still don't have enough space left. Hm.

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2021Hopefully this will balance out the addition of 120hz displ... moreThe fact they gave the 13 a bigger battery than the 13 Pro makes no sense to me since the 13 Pro has a 120 Hz display and a telephoto lens.
Anyway, since the 13 Pro model have variable refresh rate and knowing Apple's optimizations, I guess it's gonna be fine, who knows the 13 Pro could have more battery backup than the 13.

Given that battery size decreased with iPhone 12 series, they are about the same now with iPhone 13 as they were in iPhone 11.

However th... moreSnapdragon 888 on s21 goes to 6 watts, on mi 11 ultra goest to 8 watts and on the gaming phones reach 10 watts. a14 peak can reach 7 watts but usually throttles and goea back down to 4 watts. The a15 will be 8.5 watts peak and throttle down to 4 watts as usual.

No 120hz on half there models??? Is this a joke? However the batteries do seem to be in a slight sync ratio to the processor. Although Apple very quiet about effeciency. CPU and GPU specs. Not impressed.
