Anonymous, 20 Sep 2021This will have crappy intel chipsetIf you want AMD CPU in a Surface model, go for Surface Laptop. Up to this day, there is still no Windows tablet with an AMD CPU. My guess is that AMD CPU doesn't fare much in terms of battery life.

That's a really nice addition, especially while using the stylus, but I am more curious if there will be any decent performance/less heat bump with the 12th generation.

If the new Surface Book has a similar hinge like the Ezel (non-detachable screen), then they would no longer have that differentiating factor and probably should bring down the price!

Ha-Ha: ARM pocket size clam has twice RAM as their own laptop. No reason to ask why they both will fail, even if every else aspect will be superior.

I definitely hope that Microsoft doesn't follow the footstep of removing the still-relevant headphone jack. Even the business-grade Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable and Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable tablet still has it. 120Hz on a Windows tablet does sound enticing, especially with the recent rumour of Thunderbolt 4 port in the upcoming Surface Pro 8.
