iPhone’s camera has limited features but the photos it takes look better than those taken from other phones.

Yes you can browse social media or do whatever you want. I wish iPhone has split screen though.

The percentage marketshare of ios vs android has largely remained the same in the past decade.

Is this why the original founder left the company to start his own?

Klidoh, 20 Sep 2021Just like how they treated oxygen OS 11, stable release tha... moreAgree 100% . I owned a Oneplus 7t, this phone was a beast, had all the features and worked buttery smooth even after using it for 1 whole year. Android 11 update ruined the experience so bad! Everyday new bugs popped up, the phone started to stutter and finally I had to give up and downgrade back to Android 10.
Android phones in general are not the best when it comes to updates, earlier I had a Galaxy A70 which broke too with an update (they pushed an update for the wrong motherboard series) and the service centre guys had no idea what the issue was.

Finally now Im using an Iphone 12, thought even today I regret paying so much for the phone, but Im more than happy with the experience and support.

Shadocx, 21 Sep 2021Oh look, the comment section is full of haters, you guys se... moreThe premise behind the merger is to improve software support between the 2 brands for global users. But the recent news that Oppo laid 20% of its software development team means that most people will still take the merger with a pinch of salt. Until we see real improvement in software support and camera algorithm (9 Pro performing below expectations after the much-hyped Hasselblad partnership didn't really improve confidence in this matter) all is just PR talk.

oxygen os is one of the most cleanest os I have ever used. I hope it doesn't effect that.

iOS does multitasking but lacks split screen.
As for desktop experience, most of the Android OEMs also don't offer that. Only a handful of OEMs (Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola) actually enable that or provide hardware for it. It is funny you commented desktop experience in this article when Oppo is famous for not enabling this on their devices with USB 3.0+.

Why is it that OxygenOS do not have a separate volume control for notifications? It shares with Ring volume control....that's the only thing I dislike about it.

When you already have a Superb OS (Oxygen OS), then why merge it with something as shitty as Color OS???
It would be better to simply switch all the Oppo phones to Oxygen OS... I'd hate to loose the smoothness and awesomeness and many other qualities of the O2 OS in future....
After using all Android OS and iOS, I always had a perception that in Android only Oxygen OS is as good as iOS.

add ESS SABRE 32bit 382khz DAC + 3.5mm jack with bigger output than LG V series!
