The Intel version has a GeForce RTX 3050, the AMD one an RTX 3060 instead.

And not talking about the cpu and other hardware with them.

RTX 3050 is pretty much as powerful as 2060

I have noticed that each new generation is rebranded older gpu. For example 2060 is 1070 and 2070 is 1080.

    Most laptop gamers play with 720p or 1080p resolution,

    At 720p you use max 2GB vram
    At 1080p you use around 2GB to 6GB vram

    So unless you max everything at 1080p, 4GB is OK for budget Gaming laptop.

        At least in my country all of 3050 based notebooks cost around what RTX 2060/GTX 1660 Ti do, and they perform mostly same.

        Unless you play eSports games, most new games will run into VRAM issues, while that is not a problem on a weak GPU like the 1650, 3050 is very capable so some games could not utilize the hardware to it's limit because there is not enough VRAM.

        And this for regular gaming, ray tracing tends to use even more VRAM so you could forget using that.

          however, version with nvidia 3050 which has 2,048 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory bus, this will be unusable for playing any of more demanding graphic games ..so buying this version for gamers is waste of time.. its enough only for home offices or using for playing not hard demanding modern graphic pc games, for playing games on full resolution and settings need at least geforce 3600 or higher or choose model with AMD Radeon graphic

              RTX3050 is just a lol for 144hz screen. Never mind that 512GB space for storage these days isn't enough for gaming laptops. When games already are 100GB in size or even more. And on these games i dont see how RTX 3050 will get 144 frames per second to support that 144hz screen. Probably can play the pubg or the like games that are made for mobile phone first then PC to get that 144fps. Serious shooter or racing games on Windows need better graphics card to run this high fps.
