To both Samsung and Google, I can only say I take my hat off.

These 2 players have conducted an almost impecable business strategy that will bear fruits for some time to come.

This is a book example of how a competitive market makes perfect and of how to make a business partnership work out wonderfully.

      Bravo, on every level.

Apple, has demonstrated over the last 10 years what innovation, design and quality can do for business. I also have great respect for the company (specially for Steve Jobs). But the flaw was (from the 1980s), is, and will always be, it´s closed ecosystem approach. For this mistake they will pay eventually (they already are)

Samsung became the best not by copying from other phone manufacturers but because of the "freedom they give to the consumers".. They let you choose the best phone you can get your money's worth.

Their smartphones don't need other gadget to co-exist with theirs to experience full user experience. And even now that they have reached the top they still listen to the consumers to continually improved their products.

Samsung has not filed cases against any of their competitors. Samsung is not involved in any sales malpractices. Samsung is not forcing competitors to share profits. If others are not able to sell as good as Samsung it's only because the competitors are too focused on profits rather than providing value for money to the consumers. Ultimately the consumer makes the choice, not the companies.

If only people at Nokia had an open mind like yours, it would have been much better. Sometimes, success gets to their head and they think no end of themselves which is what has happened to Nokia. 10 years ago all of my family, friends and colleagues had Nokia. Not a single person I knew had a Samsung. Today my entire family uses Samsung. 9 out of 10 of my friends have Samsung. My team, including my boss and her boss have a Samsung. Not all of them can be wrong/stupid to simply buy a Samsung isn't it? Samsung is where it is today because their core objective was to provide value for money by including features and making it cost effective. Volumes take care of profits automatically. Long live the thought process of Samsung!

Samsung smart by bringing device of every size like gsmarena said. Plus all their devices are all rounder, good for daily usage. Consumers have the choice to pick what they want.

I bought a Samsung flip phone back in 2004 and it was the worst phone I've ever owned. I sent it back for RMA (repair) 3 times because people on the other end of the call were always telling me to speak louder - so did the customer service rep when I called about getting it fixed. Samsung products has always been trash to me and will always be. They take/copy existing products and throw in all the bells and whistles at the same or cheaper price to steal market share. Car companies from the republic of Samsung (aka S.Korea) do the same.

The best things about samsung phones are:
                                        1-Micro sd slot.
                                        2-Removable battery.
