It's not important until you try it

    I've moved from a 60hz screen to a 144hz screen and honestly, I dont think I could go back now, everything is so effortlessly smooth, I have 3 phones one is 144hz and the other 2 is 60hz and the difference is
    night and day. Plus some games feel and look incredible, so responsive it's unreal, hyperburn being one game which takes full advantage of a 144hz screen

      Im literally getting a Note20 Ultra instead of a Note10+ for that screen and more.

        I have high refresh rates phones and I do not care for it.
        They are just small phones, it's nice to have smoother animations ... but seriously, I would trade 144 for 60, if the rest would be worth it in no time.

          They should make an adaptive refresh rate where A. I can choose between 75hz or 90hz for tablets.

              I don't fuzz over the high refresh rate screen. Even with 30hz I still can live with that. What's important is I can make calls, texting, surf the web, play little game, watch YouTube/video and listen to music. Those gadget/device doesn't dictate my life. It is me who controls my own life.

                Both my galaxy fold 3 and tab s7 plus have 120hz screens and I'll never go back to 60hz.

                  I do my best to avoid only 60 Hz panels everywhere it's possible, that's just not a good enough refresh rate. :)

Didnt apple had a news like some time ago that they are moving on cheaper materials to get cost down to build them and then added more on the cost to buy one of them ? And what about the quality that is way better then others who sell top end for 2/3 of the iphone price ? It's luxury item from the beginning of the company. And talking about no match with anyone. Well you cant compare a BUS with a CAR cause they are different things. Iphone have it's own hardware that is specifically designed for there own operation system and the specific hardware for there latest models that will use the hardware. You cant compare them with android phones cause it wont be fair comparison. Snapdragon, Mediatek, kirin and so on all are made to have all types of features so these chips can run on all types of hardware and are not limited for only few devices. You cant also benchmark any of the chips with apple bionic. As it's not like you test on a PC where you have 2 motherboard one for amd and other for intel that the motherboard is same but only difference is the cpu slot while all the other hardware will be same to benchmark the chips. It just wont work for comparing is IOS devices better then Android devices

                            Who voted 60Hz show me yourself

                              Phones costing above $200 should already have 1080p 120Hz screen and 5000mAh battery at the minimum. Much better if it's also variable to as low as 1Hz.
                              The option to settle down for 60Hz will always be available, but the hardware itself must already have the capability for high refresh rate so that there will be more options for people who have different use cases and needs in a smartphone.

                              People say that there's barely any content to utilize the high refresh rate, but as more smartphones get such feature, program developers will also eventually add support to high refresh rate screens to keep their users satisfied.
                              Basically, having 120Hz display is the first step towards standardizing the high refresh rate feature for smartphones. Sooner or later, 120Hz will replace 60Hz as the normal refresh rate, and 60Hz will be considered outdated and incredibly slow.
