ID Wallet app saves your driving license on iPhone in Germany

In Brazil the Driver Licence is also digital (started some yeras ago) and is accepted as an official identification document.
As it's digital, you dont even need to have your phone, as the police can search it on their system to confirm you have the licence to drive.

When you have all this data stored in an iPhone, with buying a new one they automatically download into it. Maybe Google is going to make something similar too. Now when I get a new phone, it can download all apps, transfer my contacts, e-mail, even SMS. But it does not download all the data inside apps.

Inevitabile all IDs will exist only in a digital form. I guess we will start seeing some countries moving to digital passports in 10 years or perhaps even less.
One issue with this is that changing device will become quite complicated.
